A 46-year-old Scotsman, Gordon Grubb has been off work, with pay, sick with stress since July 4, 2002, the day after he won almost three (3) million pounds in the UK National Lottery. Mr. Grubb claims that he is suffering from anxiety after winning the Jackpot. The day after winning the Lottery jackpot he called in sick and hasn’t been back to work. Mr. Grubb sends in a doctor’s note in every week, saying that he can’t work due to stress/anxiety and he collects his 2500.00 pound monthly paycheck.

According to reporter Janice Burns of the Daily Record (www.dailyrecord.co.uk) The following four quotes are attributed to Mr. Grubb;

1. "I had a great life before I won and I want to keep it that way."

2. "I was ecstatic when I won but it won't change my life. I will continue to do the things I do every day.”

3. "I don't want all those material things. I have no plans to do anything different with my life or buy anything else”.

4. "Why should I have to move house, away from the area where I was born and brought up?”

We here at Lots0cash have only one question for Mr. Gordon Grubb of Maryhill; WHY DID YOU BUY THE LOTTERY TICKET IN THE FIRST PLACE?

We are of the belief that winning several million SHOULD change your life, hopefully in a positive way, but positive or not the winning of that much money must cause enormous changes in one’s life.

We have one suggestion for Mr. Grubb, if you can’t use the money for your own enjoyment, why not use some of it to better the lives of people less fortunate than yourself.
