Do you think Lottery winners are lucky? Before you answer, read on...
Biggest winner in US lottery history says, "If I had known what was ahead, I would have torn that ticket up!"
Those are the words of Mrs. Jack Whittaker, wife of the man who claimed the largest lottery jackpot in United States History $319 Million Dollars in a Powerball drawing back in December 2002.
Since the Whittakers hit the big one in 2002, luck has not graced them with its presence again.
The Whittakers have had hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen from their cars, office and home, Mr. Whittaker pleaded no contest to a charge of assaulting a bar manager and threatening to kill him, two charges of drunk driving and Mr. Whittaker was accused of groping women at the local race track.
All those things pale to insignificance, in light of the Whittakers latest nightmare... After two weeks of looking, the Whittaker's 17 year old granddaughter was found dead, her body abandoned, wrapped in a tarp and left under an abandoned van next to her boyfriends house.
Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker and family, we feel your pain.
