Since 1988 The Florida State Lottery has generated more than $23 billion for The Education Enhancement Trust Fund, which has allocated $350 million dollars to The Bright Future Scholarship Program in that time period, School Construction Bonds received near $320 million dollars, Public Schools received over $270 million in contributions from The Education Enhancement Trust Fund, near $255 million has gone to State University's in Florida, $130 million went to Colleges, and over $50 million has been donated to Student Financial Aid Programs since 1988 when the Florida Lotto began. 90% percent of The Education Enhancement Trust Fund Fees are paid in full by The Florida Lottery, in the 2010 to 2011 year an estimated $120 billion was generated for the (EETF) or the Education Enhancement Trust Fund.
