Let’s take a trip back in time to the Victorian age when a certain Dr Jekyll is busy with his experiments and is about to undergo a big personality change. That’s what happens when you go round drinking out of test tubes. This is another cracking 3D animated game from Betsoft and will certainly keep you entertained and hopefully make you a bit richer too.
The graphics in this game really are impressive and the sound effects add to the eerie atmosphere. Slot games really have come a long way in recent years, heaven knows what they will look like in a few years time.
Game symbols include Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde of course, a policeman, a lock and key, Dr Jekyll’s house, a newspaper, a book and a fire place. As those reels start spinning keep a close eye out for the Jekyll and Hyde characters because they are the highest payers in this game.
When you get a winning line, Jekyll declares “Tally Ho” which is alright but he keeps saying it, so it does get a bit boring after a while. But you are getting richer at the same time so it’s probably a case of better the devil you know. Jekyll continually paces around his laboratory and library throughout the game. Turning into Mr Hyde may be one of his problems but another will crop up when he wears a hole in the carpet. He has to keep going walkabout to keep checking how his potions are getting on and just how much potion he has is really important not just to him but the player too.
These potion symbols only appear on reels 2 and 4 and just where they end up after the all-important spin is another vital part of this game. If the Red potion symbols ends up next to the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde logo then that’s going to bring some tidy profits because Jekyll and Hyde become Wild Hyde symbols (and they don’t come much wilder than Mr Hyde).
What happens if it’s the Blue Potion symbol that ends up next to Jekyll and Hyde? You get a special bonus with a 20X multiplier on your original stake plus a random multiplier of between 5X and 20X your bet.
There’s also the Frenzy Bonus and to get this you simply need two Mr Hyde symbols and the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde logo to appear on reels 2,3 and 4. It’s then time to make an important decision because we get to see the dastardly Mr Hyde on the run from the police and he comes to a turn (he does a lot of turning) but should he go left or right? If you make the correct turn you earn a bet multiplier worth up to a whopping 30X.
Another great feature in this entertaining game is the Potion Bonus. This gets triggered when two Dr Jekyll symbols appear on either side of the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde logos on reels 2-4. You need to select the right elements that will create an “anti-monster” serum. The quicker you can do this, the better and the more you’ll win with the highest bet multiplier a whopping 120X
