These alien invaders are a funny looking bunch with just the one eye and purple spots on its green skin. If you see this late at night, it might be a job trying not to laugh.
This is a five-reel game with 20 paylines rather than the usual 30 in BetSoft games. It’s possible to wager up to five coins on each line you play. The minimum stake is $0.02 and the maxiumum $1. That means a maximum bet in ‘Invaders’ costs you $100. No problem trying your luck with that as long as you can afford the loss. It can be played on your PC without requiring a download but isn’t on their list of games that can be played on your mobile devices.
A little bit of knowledge can take you a long way, so have a good look through the paytable. Also have a few free plays to get used to the game.
There’s no introduction to the game showing just how the aliens landed on our planet, nor is there any background music. We do get some smart and fun graphics though and some suitably sci-fi themed sound effects when spinning the reels and getting winning combinations.
Symbols in this game include the alien invader, a flying saucer, a paper giving news of the alien invasion, a red planet, an asteroid, a plane with rings circling it, an Area 51 sign, two of the aliens holding a glowing green globe and a planet with rings around it. The newspaper is the wild symbol in this game This replaces all the other symbols aside from the Scatter symbol (the asteroid), Bonus (the flying saucer floating over a house)| and Multipliers (the Initiate control panel symbol).
Wins are paid left to right and the jackpot is $5000 if playing at the maximum stake level if you can get five of the flying saucers on an active payline. Now that really is out of this world.
It’s an easy game to play with the control buttons at both the top (that’s where the view pays button is) and bottom of the screen. The Select Lines, Bet per Line and Max Bet buttons aren’t placed on theme-related items as in other games, but there is a big flying saucer behind the Spin button which is great to look at. There’s no Autoplay feature in this game which is a shade disappointing.
