Everyone has no doubt read the book or seen the Disney movie surrounding Snow White, right? And if not, then there have been multiple other incarnations of the story. The original tale is a nineteenth-century German fairytale and the Brothers Grimm would publish it in 1812. The Grimms would go on to complete their final revision of the story in 1854. As the story goes, Snow White is born to a good and noble queen. The child grows to have skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as ebony. Unfortunately, the queen dies and Snow White’s father takes a second wife. Also very beautiful, but wickedly vain, the new queen possesses a magic mirror. It is this mirror that informs the new queen of Snow White’s rivalling beauty, which drives her to seek out any method possible of ending her step-daughters life. There’s nothing so unfamiliar about the layout of this slot game. It features the regular five reels and three rows to it. Joining these parts of the game are 20 separate pay lines. Unlike many other EGT offerings, the lines are set in place in this one. Even though there are still lower numbers down either side of the reels, you won’t be able to select any of them. So, you’ll always be wagering on 20 bet lines. One thing that you do have the power to customise though, is the wager that you place per round. Visually speaking, the game has some of EGT’s very best graphics on display. It is upon the reels of it that you will find the various different symbols. These include the often seen A, K, Q and J offerings, all written in a fairytale book-like script. The remaining symbols are those of characters and animals from the Snow White story. Like any fairytale, there has to be a little bit of magic available to utilise. There is such in this game, all of which comes from its special features. To begin with, there’s a wild symbol offering, which is in the form of the queen’s magic mirror. As a wild, it will substitute for all other icons on the reels in order to form a winning combination. The only exception to this rule is the extra wild. Spinning five of the standard wilds into view on a winning pay line provides a maximum pay out possibility of 20,000 coins.

And speaking of the extra wild, this is the icon that is in the form of the red apple doused in poison. This icon can only appear on the very first reel, and it works in the same way as the standard wild initially. Therefore, it will substitute for all other symbols on the reels primarily. However, it has an extra perk to it. It also converts any of the A, K, Q and J symbols on the screen into wilds as well!

The ever present gamble round that is available within the vast majority of EGT games is also available in this one. This becomes active after any winning combination that forms during the base game. Simply press the ‘Gamble’ button to proceed to this round. There, you will see several face down playing cards and you need to guess what colour the next one you turn over will be.
