Mount Olympus Slot Machine
Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece, located between Thessaly and Macedonia, perhaps best known for its role in Greek Mythology, where it served as the home for the 12 Olympians, including Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite and Perseus. This slot is subtitled ‘The Revenge of Medusa’, who was famously beheaded by Perseus, who would use her snake laden head as a weapon to turn onlookers into stone. Medusa herself is the standout character on the reels, joined by a solitary eye, a magical potion and a sword piecing a pile of gold. The feature of the game sees you choosing a snake before embarking on a free spins round.
Upon entering the slot, the first thing you’ll notice is the sound. Lightning electrifies the air, while rain is all around, this sound so realistic you might have to check it’s not actually raining outside. The backdrop to the reels is the rain-soaked mountain itself, the rocky terrain lighting up every time the lightning strikes. The reels have a dark blue backing, the majority of the symbols being the playing card letters and numbers, these all appearing to have snake like scales, all in different colours. The relevant symbols to the slot are all very well drawn, giving the game an impressive, modern feel. The excellent sound effects for the weather are joined by a tune that might have come from a snake charmer (good luck with that – I don’t think these snakes can be charmed) during each spin.
