You’ll find that a few different bonus features are available within this game. Some of them are quite standard for a slot, while others adapt to the general theme of this one. First of all, there’s the addition of
a wild symbol, which is that of the jester’s hat. This can only show up on reels two, three and four. However, when it does, it will stand in for all other icons there in order to form a win. The only exception to this is the game’s bonus icon. While this particular feature is fairly standard for slot games, the remainder of the specialities are what make this one so intriguing.
As we said, there is a bonus symbol on the reels of Medieval Money. This is the image of the archery board. If three of these icons come into view in any position on reels two, three and four, you’ll trigger the bonus round. This is known as the Archery Picker. Your first goal is to select one of the nine separate targets on display to reveal your bonus. There are four different bonus rounds you’re able to access, so let’s take a look at those.
The first special round is the Money Bags Picker. This starts if you reveal a set of three money bags behind one of the archery boards. The idea of this round is simple – pick one of the three money bags to reveal a bonus win. This can be anywhere from two times to 50 times your total bet! In addition, you can activate the Joust Free Spins bonus round. Should you reveal the icon of the knight, you’ll receive seven freespins. This round also contains the Jousting Wilds Expansion feature, which sees a blue knight and a red knight appear on reels one and five, respectively. When both show up on the same row simultaneously they will joust to determine a winner. If the blue knight ins, all blue symbols on the row become wild. And vice versa for if the red knight wins.
There’s also the chance to trigger the Spell Picker round. This sees you meet up with your wizard friend, who will offer you five unique spell bottles. Each of these contains a multiplier amount of up to times 100, with your total bet receiving this multiplier! Finally, there’s the Dragon Path Bonus. Simply press the wheel to see it spin. If it lands on 1, 2 or 3 you get to move that number of spaces on the path. Landing a skull will see your multiplier increase. This round ends when you reach the end of the path, or when the wheel lands on one of the skulls.
