Chicago may be known as The Windy City, but this slot game is nothing more than a gentle breeze. It takes you back to a time of street mobs and cops roaming around. The glory days of the 1920s, we would say. However, it does this all in a very entertaining and cartoon-like way. The background of the game, for example, features town clocks on huge steeples and the design of it all is done in a faded grey colour. It’s a little bit of a shame that Novomatic couldn’t come up with a more compelling soundtrack for it though. Hearing the drone of that awful arcade soundtrack that seems to feature in all their slots does not fall in line with this theme at all. However, trying to look on the positive side of things rather than the negative, we can honestly say that Chicago gives us very good first impressions.
