Fortunately, the developer chose to follow up the game with a sequel in the form of Funky Fruits Farm. Of course, while the original game took place on the beach, this one takes you down to the farmyard. There, you’ll get to see the farmer and his animals take over the reels and the screen, in more ways than one. And when you compare this sequel to the original, you’ll see that there are plenty of intriguing upgrades. Take, for example, the slot’s graphics. These have certainly undergone a more crisp and modern transformation. Not only that, but there are some additional bonus features in this game, which is something the original Funky Fruits didn’t contain. All in all, it makes for a very appealing follow up that everyone can enjoy.

The first part of this game that you will notice upon loading it up, is the layout. This presents you with a total of five reels and three rows. So, this sequel of Funky Fruits sticks to the more common design for its interface. And in addition to this, the game contains a total of 20 separate win lines. However, if you feel that there are too many of these in play, you can customise them easily enough. Just make use of the relevant plus and minus buttons. You’re also able to adjust the value of the bet that you place per active line. Simply use the second set of the plus and minus buttons. With these, you can opt from values between $0.01 and $0.75 per line. This means that the game offers its players up a maximum total bet amount of $15 per spin.

Now, as we said previously, the graphics that are in Funky Fruits Farm are very much an appealing set. The background and everything surrounding the reels takes you right to the farm itself. There’s a barn, a silo, windmills and so much more on display. Then, upon the reels is where you will get the chance to see the various different symbols of the game. The first six of these are present in the form of the often seen playing card icons. Therefore, there’s the blue 9, the green 10, J and Q, and the red K and A. These combine together to form the game’s lowest paying symbols. The quirky fruit icons also show up on the reels, with the watermelon and the pineapple being the first two. Then comes the cherries, which can multiply your stake by up to 400 times. And the final two are the orange and the lemon. We’re not sure where the plum has gone from the original game, but it’s not made it to the farm, apparently.

Fruity Specials

While the original Funky Fruits game didn’t really have any special features to speak of, this version does. The first of these additions comes in the form of the game’s wild icon. This is a fruit that has been squashed by the word, ‘Wild’. As such, this icon will stand in for all other symbols on the reels in order to assist you in creating winning combinations. It shows up in stacks on every reel, and the only exception to the substitution rule is the game’s scatter. Five of the wild icons appearing on a winning bet line will see that you receive a multiplier of 10,000 times your stake.

The game’s scatter offering comes in the form of the bizarre looking farmer. Scatter symbols are able to show up in any location on the reels and still provide you with a pay out. Five of them in view anywhere will see that your bet receives a multiplier of 500 times! And what’s more, three or more scatter symbols will also activate the Funky Fruits Bonus. Initially, you’ll be given eight freespins with a double multiplier in play. Then, you need to select two of the five different fruits to win additional freespins and/or multipliers. There are up to 33 freespins available to you and up to 15 times multipliers! And if three or more scatter symbols come into view during the freespins round, you will be given 15 more on top!
